Prejee Innovations Private Limited("we", "us", "our") operates Rankrs, an AI-powered educational platform for JEE and NEET preparation. This Privacy Policy applies to all services under the Rankrs brand, including:

• The Rankrs website and web dashboard at https://rankrs.in
• The Hey Rankrs WhatsApp coaching bot
• Any future products or services operated under the Rankrs brand

By using any of these services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy. 2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account information — name, and email address when you register on the Rankrs dashboard.
• Profile preferences — your exam target and other optional profile details.
• WhatsApp number — if you choose to link your WhatsApp number to your Rankrs account to use Hey Rankrs.
• Payment information — billing details submitted during subscription purchase. We do not store card numbers; payments are processed by our payment provider.

2.2 Information from Third Parties

• Google OAuth — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
• Payment providers — providing us with payment status, transaction IDs, and partial billing information to confirm your subscription(s).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Rankrs account.
• Provide access to tests, analytics, and AI coaching features you have subscribed to.
• Operate the Hey Rankrs WhatsApp bot and personalise coaching responses based on your history.
• Process payments and activate subscriptions.
• Send transactional emails — account verification, password reset, payment confirmation.
• Generate performance analysis and coaching insights based on your test-taking behaviour.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your personal information for advertising purposes, and we do not sell your data to any third parties.

4. AI Coaching and Data Processing

4.1 Memoir

Hey Rankrs uses Memoir, an in-built AI memory service, to store coaching context across sessions. This allows the bot to remember your weak chapters and past topics across conversations. Only academic context (topics studied, questions asked, coaching insights) is stored — never payment information, passwords, or sensitive personal data.

4.2 Dione (LLM) by Thorn Labs

AI responses are generated using Dione LLM. Your questions and conversation context are sent to this service to generate responses. This provider processes data under its own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Legal requirements — we may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Business transfers — if Prejee Innovations Private Limited is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same privacy protections.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Data Retention

• Account data — retained for the lifetime of your account and deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Test performance data and solved questions — retained for the lifetime of your account to enable long-term coaching insights and deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations.
• Server logs — retained for 90 days for security and debugging purposes.

7. Your Rights

As a user of Rankrs, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• WhatsApp unlinking — unlink your WhatsApp number from your account at any time via Account Settings.
• Account deletion — delete your Rankrs account at any time from Account Settings. This will permanently remove your profile, test data, and coaching history.
• Opt-out of non-transactional messages — you may opt out of any promotional communications by contacting us.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/TLS across all services.
• Passwords stored using industry-standard hashing (never in plain text).
• Access to production databases restricted to authorised personnel only.
• Regular security reviews of third-party integrations.
• Rate limiting and fraud detection on authentication and payment endpoints.

While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy
